The image width is constrained by the style that the board uses which is a fixed width one. There will be an upgrade done of the version of phpbb that the board uses in the near future at which point I can hopefully find a style that is similar but does not have the image constraints.

This issue should be resolved now. I am still working on some aspects of the new style, eg the double buttons for 'quote' etc but the forum should accept links to larger pictures now. However, if people start to take the piss with huge images I will set a limit again

Larger images should be resized automatically now and you can click on them for the full size image.
